As music fans our playlists grow and sometimes songs get left behind. In episode 31 (click here to listen) we mentioned that we wanted to start a weekly post with a song from an old playlist that we enjoyed listening to but for whatever reason fell off our radar. We decide to call the post set “Back Track” and these weekly lists will serve as a way for people to discover new music or just remind them of music they just haven’t heard in a while. We realize that this may not be the case for a lot of you but if you see a song on here that you haven’t heard in a while leave us a comment. For the most part these won’t always be Disney related and although we’ll do our best to filter the music not suitable for kids, if one comes up, we’ll add the [EXPLICIT] tag before the title. With that said, here is the first list:
Heyzen’s Pick:
Smashing Pumpkins – Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Mario’s Pick:
Staind – Outside
Javier’s Pick:
Hum – Stars

I just heard Smashing Pumpkins, courtesy of SiriusXM, I do love Outside, and never heard of Javiers pick lol
Very cool! They were one of my favorite bands growing up. 🙂
I really like this idea! I love Heyzen and Mario’s picks and never heard of Javier’s. I am now a fan of the song Stars by Hum. Thumbs ups! I will admit, I was confused at first until I heard the guitar \m/.
Stars is fantastic song! Javier made a great choice to kick this off!
OMG Javier wins this round. I LOVE that song and had not thought about it in years! In future posts, can you make it so we can listen to the song either from a Soundcloud embed or YouTube? That would rock. Thanks guys!
Like I mentioned to in my last comment, Javier made a great choice! We want to embed them but we’re still looking into a consistent way to do so. YouTube will work for a while but due to the way that their music service is being structure it may pose an issue later on (plus not all songs are available on YouTube and or SoundCloud). In the meantime, we’ll take advantage of what we have. Enjoy them embeds! 🙂
