Starbucks “You are here” mugs get a Disney spin!

In this episode: Starbucks and the Disney company launching co-branded theme park mugs, ceramic cups and tumblers.

As early as 1994, Starbucks has been releasing mugs with specific cities that have been very popular among travelers. Two decades later the coffee juggernaut and the Walt Disney company formed a partnership that brought Starbucks stores into their Anaheim and Florida parks along with their Downtown areas. This year, Starbucks spins off its popular “You are here” mugs to include the Disney parks and the mugs look great! The good thing is that the mugs will be released in late January 2015 and will be available in their respective parks. The bad things is that you won’t be able to go to Disneyland and purchase all 6 mugs. The two mugs available in Anaheim will feature designs for Disneyland and California Adventure:

The 4 mugs for Walt Disney World will include designs for Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom:

There will also be a general set of a 24 oz. tumbler and co-branded ceramic cup simply branded with the “Disney Parks” name:

I’m going to the park on the 25th for my 30th birthday, so I will be picking up at least one of them…thinking the Disneyland mug! Thank you for sharing this.
