The Downtown Disney District in Anaheim is scheduled for some major changes soon and one is the closing of some of it’s staple eateries. Part of that plan includes removing ESPN Zone to make way for a new hotel and unfortunately we will be losing one the coolest Easter eggs on the Disneyland Resort. Many already know about the hidden basketball court in the Matterhorn but did you know that there’s a hidden baseball diamond on the roof of the ESPN Zone? Check out the image below!
The baseball diamond and “field” are painted on the canopies that protect the cooling units on the building from the elements. Although it’s not a field you can actually play on, we still think that was a clever and fun hidden gem on the resort.
In this episode we mentioned Disney For 2’s vlog where they tried some of the food and the churros being offered during Pixar Fest. Check it out below!
