The Pixar panel was one of places where photography, video and audio recordings were not allowed. So the only photo that Heyzen was able to get was this one:
The panel itself was for the latest short films Blu-ray available and it was fantastic! The new collection includes the following titles:
- Frozen Fever (2015) – Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee, Peter Del Vecho, Aimee Scribner
- Feast (2014) – Academy Award® Winner, Patrick Osborne, Kristina Reed
- Get A Horse! (2013) – Academy Award® Nominated, Dorothy McKim, Eric Goldberg, Adam Green
- Paperman (2012) – Academy Award® Winner, Kristina Reed, John Kahr
- Tangled Ever After (2012) – Nathan Greno, Aimee Scribner, Mark Kennedy
- The Ballad of Nessie (2011) – Kevin Deters, Stevie Wermers-Skelton, Dorothy McKim
- Tick Tock Tale (2010) – Dean Wellins
- Prep & Landing: Operation Secret Santa (2010) – Kevin Deters, Stevie Wermers-Skelton, Dorothy McKim
- How to Hook Up Your Home Theater (2007) – Kevin Deters, Stevie Wermers-Skelton, Ian Gooding
- The Little Matchgirl (2006) – Academy Award Nominated, Dave Bossert, Tom MacDougall
- Lorenzo (2004) – Academy Award Nominated, Mike Gabriel
- John Henry (2000) – Mark Henn
Even though the entire panel was amazing, one of the coolest things we learned from it is that Mike Gabriel created the Castle animation at the beginning of all Disney movies. All the people on the panel had a short on the new Blue-ray (in the Amazon button above). If you would like to purchase it, we would love it if you would use the link to the movie we provided above. 🙂

While trying to get the “Hatbox Ghost” trading card, here was a sample of the craziness:

In this episode listener Jessie talks about the panels that he attended and send us these images of the freebies that he got from attending them. Here are the exclusive posters from the movie panel:
Heyzen! great recap of the expo! really wish the Mrs. and I could’ve made it! That being said…
I’M SHOCKED that with just YOU & JAVIER in the room, you didn’t bring up TOY STORY LAND at Disneyworld! I would LOVE to hear your reactions to that announcement! Especially the Slinky Dog roller coaster!!!!
Keep up the great work guys!!!!
Thanks, Jonny!
Man, there was SOO much I still wanted to talk about but there was just so much. This episode could have easily gone 4-5 hours! Haha! We’ll definitely talk about it in an upcoming episode though. Wall-E ride, anyone? 😉
