The much anticipated Netflix original Fuller House has finally been released to very mixed reviews. Have you watched it yet? We definitely felt like the first episode was a total nostalgia fest but does the show get any better?  Let us know in the comments section below.

The video that Mario was talking about featuring the people that voice the Simpson’s characters was an episode of Inside the Actor’s Studio from February 2003. With the exception of Julie Kavner voicing her character(s) live on camera, the episode featured Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer.

Luigi’s Casa Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters finally gets an official opening date set for March 7, 2016! What do you think about the ride (as featured in the video below)? Are you looking forward to it? Let us know below!

‘The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60’ recently aired and it featured many celebrities/Disney fans including the MC, Derek Hough. There were some pre-recorded segments from Disneyland, Anaheim and the rest of the special was shot at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, CA. There were performances from Sir Elton John, Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Idina Menzel, Tori Kelly, and so many more.  The special kicked off with some dancing and a performance by Pentatonix on Main Street, USA featuring some of the floats from the Paint The Night parade. Although it was a great performance it wasn’t our favorite. Also, the Paint the Night floats were just too illuminated so we felt it took a little away from the magic.

Of the many performances that evening, Fall Out Boy’s was one of the one’s that we enjoyed the most. Their rendition of “I Wan’na Be Like You” which they recorded for the “We Love Disney’ album is very high-energy and sounded great. Give it a listen below:

In what was possibly our favorite performance of the evening, Tori Kelly stole the hearts of America as she and Kermit the Frog sang Rainbow Connection. It was an amazing performance! Tori also appeared on the ‘We Love Disney’ album performing an amazing rendition of Pocohonta’s “Colors of the Wind” and even had a chance to sing that song as part of the appeared on the 2015 Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration. We weren’t able to find a complete version of the song but here is one of the teasers:

When Derek Hough and his dance crew came out to performance to ‘Step In Time’ from Mary Poppins we knew it was gong to be a really great performance. No one expected that Disney Legend Dick Van Dyke would be joining him!

The performance of Star Wars Live by the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by Gustavo Dudamel was another highlight of the special. The imagery of Star Wars presented with an amazing orchestra was simply fantastic.

Idina Menzel sang her hit ‘Let It Go’ from Frozen and this was one of the opportunities to use the Disney Applause app to “interact” with the show. Although the app didn’t feature many things to do, it did look pretty nice.

Here is what the Disney Applause app looked like during this performance:

Finally, Sir Elton John finished off the special by once again singing in front of the castle.

Overall we gave the special a thumbs up because it felt very Disney and it felt like a special event was happening. None of it felt like it was thrown together at the last minute and you can tell that the presenters and performers are Disney fans at heart.

Watch it now!

Hey guys… love your show 🙂

One little note… Elton John didn’t “Cover” Circle of Life… he composed the song, and sang it on the original ablum! So he was singing his own song on the special. LAWYERED! 😉
