While trying to prepare for our next trivia challenge, Javier stumbles upon the wonderful world of Disney Urban Myths. During the episode, we talk about my (Heyzen) time at Tony Baxter’s Main Street Window Dedication ceremony. If you’re interested, I wrote a blog post that includes some photos of the event which you can find by going here:

We also get a chance to talk a little about Scare LA and the issues that I had getting in to see the Haunted Mansion panel. My own blog post with photos of that event can be found here:

    Hi,
My name is Adam a founder of Mickeys Little Monsters social club and i want to share a couple of Myths about Disneyland. Ok the first Myth and probably the most famous one is that the spike in the castle is the center of the park. It was never the center of the park even with the expansion. It is merely a survey marker. My favorite Myth is that the clock at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle is on the time of Walts death. The time on the clock reads 4 and Walts death certificate reads 9:30 am. These Myths where all posted in the Disney cast member magazine about Myths of the park… Also a cool thing to looking into a story has circulate abut the chair that Captain Jack is sitting in at the end of Pirates of The Caribbean. It is said it was one of the chairs from Disneys Haunted Mansion movie. It would have been one of the chairs that one Evers family members would have sat in.

Great contribution, Adam! You are completely right about those first two and the “middle of Disneyland” one gets a bit funny sometimes. 🙂 We weren’t even aware of Captain Jack’s chair, though! Thanks! 🙂
